Welcome to Lakeside Bookshop!
We’re Maria and Audrea, two book lovers from different backgrounds who came together with a shared dream: to open an indie bookstore that feels warm, welcoming, and connected to our community.
Audrea is a speech pathologist whose work has shown her just how powerful words and stories can be. She brings that same love of language and communication into curating books that inspire curiosity, joy, and connection for readers of all ages.
Maria was previously an assistant general manager at a trampoline park. With her background, Maria learned the ins and outs of building fun, inviting spaces for families and friends and Audrea shares that same vision for creating a place where people genuinely want to spend time.
Together, we dreamed up Lakeside Bookshop as more than just a store. It’s a cozy corner for book lovers, a gathering spot for the community, and a place where every reader, from toddlers to lifelong bookworms, can find something to love.
